You perform and coordinate studies and analyses of projects related to ventilation, heating, plumbing, air conditioning, and refrigeration of the City’s buildings. Additionally, for certain projects, you are responsible for sealing plans and specifications in accordance with the provisions, laws, and regulations of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.

You collaborate in the implementation and execution of work carried out under contract, management, and administration. To this end, you coordinate and ensure the technical and administrative link between the project owner and the Service management. You provide applicants with all relevant information regarding your area of expertise.

• Hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering;
• Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
• Have six (6) years of relevant experience in the role, particularly:

• • In all phases of project development and work: needs assessment, scope establishment, estimates and timelines, providing comments related to mechanical design, coordination with various stakeholders, monitoring and inspecting work during execution, training and knowledge transfer to the operator;
  • In energy conservation and energy efficiency;
  • In the construction of eco-responsible LEED buildings, integrated design, and energy-saving systems;
  • In technical advice and follow-ups.

• Possess a PMP certificate, an asset;
• Have training in construction site safety (SST);
• Have a valid driver's license and access to a car.
